THE ROAD TO SUCCESS
IPS Healthcare Solutions Limited was established in the early 1990s. Since that time, we have grown to become one of the leading suppliers of Health information systems for children attending clinics of the Russian Federation's Governmental Health Service.
Our success can be attributed to several key factors in the middle of 1990s. These include famous scientists working in health information areas using state of the art neural network and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. IPS helped to create a system that can replace mass screening and that can be done just by one doctor. The system allows one to detect different diseases at the earliest stages. In 1990s Russia had a significant increase in birth rate and consequently a huge shortage of doctors, especially in remote areas such as far North of Russia and Siberia. Therefore, we tried to face that problem by developing a Health Information Screening system for children. It took us almost 10 years to bring it from concept to the 'intellectual adviser' product that allows to do diagnostics and screening.
The result exceeded our expectations and our system AKDO was recognised as the best product in Russia. Furthermore it has no analogous equivalents in our country, therefore it entered the Federal target programs of delivery to hospitals and schools.
Thinking about the success story, I'm more and more convinced that success was achieved because we managed to find a common language with medical staff and doctors. We managed not only to hear them, but also bring the modern science in healthcare.

We are developing a portable, affordable, electrical impedance device for the screening of breast cancer at home. This device can be used regularly by families. It has 64 electrodes and the price is between $150-300.
